Uganda’s visa policy allows citizens of most countries to enter the country without a visa for stays of up to 90 days. However, some countries are required to obtain a visa before arriving in Uganda. These include Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, and North Korea, among others. Visitors from these countries must apply for a visa through the Ugandan embassy or consulate in their home country.
Visitors from countries not on the visa-exempt list must apply for a visa in advance. This can be done online through the e-visa portal or through a Ugandan embassy or consulate.
